Need some help?

There is a CDRP – sometimes called the Community Safety Partnership – in every region of England and Wales. You can find their details on the government's crime reduction website at www.crimereduction.gov.uk.

You may also find it helpful to talk to your local council's Community Safety Officer. You can find contact details for your council in the phone book or on the website www.ukonline.gov.uk.

Your local police force may also have an Architectural Liaison Officer who may be a useful contact. You can reach them through the main police switchboard (under Police in the phone book). For a list of police websites visit www.met.police.uk/links.

The charities Groundwork and BTCV are partners in Operation Gate It and organise a wide range of local projects to help communities improve the appearance and safety of their neighbourhoods. For details of your local Groundwork Trust visit www.groundwork.org.uk. To find out if there is a branch of BTCV in your area visit www.btcv.org.
