The £2.3 million programme is managed by the environmental regeneration charity Groundwork and projects are delivered in partnership with Groundwork Trusts and local branches of BTCV.

Other agencies such as local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships, the police and local authorities will also be involved in identifying and delivering projects.

Anti-Social Behaviour Unit

The Home Office established the Anti-Social Behaviour Unit in January 2003 to lead the drive to tackle anti-social behaviour. The Unit works across Government to co-ordinate and develop a new approach to tackling anti-social behaviour. Information on what else is being done to tackle anti-social behaviour can be found on the website.

Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnerships

The 1998 Crime and Disorder Act established partnerships between the police, local authorities, probation service, health authorities, the voluntary sector, and local residents and businesses. These partnerships are working to reduce crime and disorder in their area by consulting with the local community and devising a strategy to deal with identified priority problems.
